i just installed a new motherboard and processor, onboard
graphics and sound, put cpu bus to 166mhz, all worked
fine, increased bus via setup to 200mhz, now when i try
to start computer, the moniter blinks as though it is not
registering it is connected and the one time is did
register the screen stayed blank, ive checked connection
could it be related to teh cpu fsb

If you cannot access the BIOS, jump the CMOS pins on the motherboard and it
will reset to defaults.

If you really must up the FSB to 200, you might need to increase the CPU
voltage by 0.05V or 0.10V (small steps). Also, make sure you have a good
CPU heatsink/fan and use a good thermal compound between the CPU and
heatsink. You might want to add a fan in the front and back of the case to
insure adequate airflow through the case (or leave the cover off!)

Good Luck!

i suggest that you lower it. if you don't then your whole
cpu could short out from getting to hot. trust me i know
this i have done it my self :(
