Hello
I have installed Money 99 from the Microsoft Works CD onto a laptop running
Windows XP. When I start the program however I get 'The ordinal 6467 could
not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42.dll'. I have googled and
searched the knowledge base but nothing was very helpful. Could anyone help
me to solve this problem please?
Many thanks

Give this a try:

Right click the Shortcut, Properties, Compatibility, Run as,

Windows 98

Thanks for your reply Don. I have done what you asked but now when I click on
Money 99 the hourglass appears for about 2 seconds and then dies. No error
messages but it just doesn't load. I read somewhere that you have to replace
the MFC42.dll file with a newer one but I don't know where to get a newer one
or how to replace it.
Many thanks

I don't know if Money 99 will run on XP or if it will, how to do it. The
people in the Money newsgroup will, though.

might use task manager to insure part of money is not already running.
