molocha.exe How do I kill it.

I read the instructions they give to remove it, and they have a couple
of things in their instructions that don't seem right to me. For one,
they have you paste the path and filename of the virus into your
Explorer address bar. Why???

I also don't understand why they're using a dos command window to delete
the files, wouldn't it be just as easy to use My Computer to do so?

I've seen many, many recommendations from people in the many groups I
read for using Malwarebytes to detect and remove things like this and
it's free I believe. I've also seen posts back from people who have had
their problems solved by Malwarebytes.

Well, I did some reading on their web site, and on their list of the 444
variants of malware they remove, TrojanDropperAgent is not listed so
maybe it won't help after all. Here's a link anyway -

I found a link in another group that leads to a good list of
anti-malware applications on Kelly's Korner web site. The post I found
it in had a person thanking him for the link saying it got rid of their
problems.

I followed one of the links there and SuperAntiSpyware looks like a good
one which claims to remove around one million threats and their free
version actually not only scans, but removes threats as well.

Download, install and update Malwarebytes, and Spyware Search & Destroy.
Spybot S & D looks for 290,000+ rogue variants, Malwarebytes over 53,000+
malware variants, NOT 444!
Scan your System in Safe Mode if necessary.

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6 is a very good, FREE Anti-Spyware Program.
Download, install, update, and immunize your System with it.
Then SCAN with it.
Update it, and scan your System once a fortnight.

For the Free version scroll down their page to either download from
Download.com, or Major Geeks.com

Download, install, and update.

Important re: Safe Mode
If you happen to find a problem that you can’t uninstall / delete, reboot
the computer, and go into Safe Mode.
To get into Safe mode, tap F8 right at Power On / Startup, and use UP arrow
key to get to Safe Mode from list of options, then hit ENTER.
RESCAN your computer with your Anti-Virus, Malwarebytes and Spybot S & D
while in Safe Mode.

Woops! I followed the wrong link in the google search results and I was
on the RogueRemover page not the main MalwareBytes page. Here is the
link I got the number 444 for and it evedently is in reference to
RogueRemover not the main MalwareBytes application.

Ray, you only can tell when you have Malwarebytes installed.
That's how I know.
It gets updated very often.
So, you get the version number, and number of "things" it will scan for.
