I have shielded cable, wrapped in foil, tried different power sockets, degaussed the monitor, reseated vid card....

On my other computer I have a geforce 3 Ti200 with the same issue. Is this a line-power issue?

Moire is unlikely to manifest itslef in games... there's very little in the
way of regular patterns.

You sure it's Moire? Describe the effect to us.

You have a floursecent bulb near your monitor? I noticed that this
flourescent lamp I have will cause the same effect if too close to the
monitor. Or it could be you need to force a different refresh rate in
the games.

Lines, approximately a 1/4" apart, starting at the middle top of the screen
and extending in a semi-circular pattern (more horizontal than vertical)
across the entire screen, getting fainter toward the bottom.
And I have removed every electrical appliance from the vicinity with no
help.

Moire is a result of representing one grid by a closely sized grid and gives
you the effect of cicular patterning. If the effect is independant of the
image on the screen, it's not Moire.

Sounds tome like some form of interference, but you say it's only in 3D?
Maybe it's related to refresh rate... do you get it when you set your
desktop to 60Hz?

Another thing you can try is to get a high quality shielded cable for your
monitor to video card. But I know on some monitors it is hardwired so you
can't just go out and get a new cable. Look into it though.

Unshielded cable are appaling. I bouoght a Belkin Monitor replacement cable
(F2N something) and it's crap. I get 6 visible exhoes of high contrast
vertical edges.

The Belkin F3... series is shielded.
