Moduslink Express Upgrade - Order Status Query

I placed my upgrade to vista order on the moduslink site back in November,
and the status went as far as COA Validated, but I have noticed that it has
now changed to 'Order Recieved'

Has this gone backwards in order status? Or does it mean received with the
dept who will perform shipping?

Can anyone else confirm what their status is and how it has changed? Hope I
am not going to have to give them a call!

Who knows? Moduslink is hard to figure my order doesn't even say that much
and I put my order in at the same time you did.
 
Try calling the company that you purchased the computer from and asking for
Moduslink's telephone number. I called, I was getting the same msgs that you
were, they told me all info was receieved and that my disk would ship by mid
Feb.
I think I posted the number ion these boards, run a serach for my posts you
should be able to find it.
 
I sent an email asking when it'll ship and today got a response:

Thank you for your interest in the Upgrade Redemption Program.

The Upgrade Software should begin shipping late January 2007. You
will receive your Vista/Office software within 4-6 weeks from release
date.

The Upgrade Software will ship within approximately

They need to update their reply since it's now the middle of February.

I have gone through the same process and gone from pop/coa validated to
order received, back to pop/coa validated and back to order received again!

If you check a lot of the forums you will find this is not unusual and the
victimisation is worldwide !

Microsoft/Moduslink have massively underestimated the response to the
upgrade offer, and hence the chaos
