How can I get the following error message to go away:
c:\program2\kodak\easysharesetup\registration_7.1.30.7.sxt
The specified module could not be found

I don't use Kodak Easyshare anymore, but can't get rid of this message.

Hi Paul,

Click the start orb, type "msconfig" and hit <enter>. Go to the startup tab
and look for the line that loads the Kodak registration reminder. Uncheck it
and click apply/ok. Reboot at leisure.

Rick,
Unfortunately I don't see anything related to Kodak in my startup tab. Any
other ideas?
Paul

there is a program from MS called
auto runs
I believe, download it and use it to kill the process.

did you properly uninstall the kodak program and delete the folder it was installed in.
you also might ask kodak how to stop it, if all else fails.

The missing dll is being called by a scheduled task within vista
scheduled tasks located under

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools
From here view the bottom active tasks pane and you will find
something to the effect of easyshare updater. This is the task that
is causing your error. Double click this task and then in the
following screen, right click the task and select delete. This will
remove the task and the annoying missing module box on startup.

Hope this helps

Jeff
