Modifying The Outlook Preview Pane To show image

Hi all, I want to modify the preview pane of Outlook (XP / 2000) to
show an image . I have gone through many pages which tell how to use
an 'addin' . But all those are for adding buttons in commandbars. I
want to have an addin which
actually adds an image on the preview pane where To: From: etc. are
displayed.
So that I can display the image of sender there.

Any idea about how this can be achieved ?
 
Outlook provides no mechanism for modifying the preview pane as you describe or for adding an additional pane.
