I must be blind. I'm trying to find the way to set the meta-tags
to allow search engines to find my website. I think I can either
edit the html or use FrontPage menus to insert the meta-tags, but
I cannot seem to find the way to do it. Someone want to offer
some help? Thanks in advance.

Right click the page, select Page properties,
click the Custom tab, edit the KEYWORDS listing
in User variables.

I still don't get it. If I look at the Page View, and right-click on the
background, nothing happens. If I look at the Navigation View
and right-click on the background, the popup menu has no
Properties option. If I look at the Navigation View and right-click
on index.htm, I get a Properties option but it has no Custom tab.
Where should the cursor be when I right-click?

Oh never mind, I found it. You must be in the page editing view
to be able to right-click that way. Thanks.

If you're not sure, you probably aren't.

To insert <meta> tags by editing the HTML, click the HTML
tab at the bottom ofthe Page view window.

To insert <meta> tags by menu, open the page in FrontPage,
choose Properties from the File menu, click the Custom
tab, and work with the User Variables list.

You figured it out! Just a tip, when I make changes to the meta-junk, I
usually save a copy of pretty much the whole header in Notepad and then save
the .txt file in my _private folder. Then I have a clean copy handy to copy
and paste to other pages in my web.
