Modifying AD user account GUI

I'm looking for information on how to add an additional field to the GUI for
user account properties in Active Directory. I see in ADSI edit that there's
an attribute called employeeID but there's no such field when I look at an
account through the AD users and groups mmc. Is there a way to make this
attribute visible and editable in the GUI?

You really should search for answers prior to posting them. This question is
asked at least 2-3 times a week in the various Microsoft groups.
