Modifying ACC2007 forms

How can I modify the width of a single field without all of the fields being

As the tutorials mentioned in other responses tell you, The Remove button
on the arrage ribbon is the trick.
I found and guessed at it early on, then went looking for the correct
solution.

If you "REMOVE" just one field it will frequently MOVE and hide behind
another field.
I then thought that I had, oddly enough, removed it....
 
With the form in design view, select the arrange tab. Highlight the control
and press the remove icon. This should remove the control from the others and
allow you to resize it without moving any of the other controls.
