Modify XP Theme

Hello All,

Is there a document where I can learn how to change simple attributes for
the XP theme. For example, the task bar color.

Thanks for the response but I was looking for a simple registry change or
file editing rather than using 3rd party software.

Good luck.

If it was simple and available, everyone would be doing it and there would be no need for 3rd party applications.

The silver xp theme color is not as bright as the
green/blue. Silver does not detract from site colors.

If you change(in secure mode) the uxtheme.dll with a cracked version
avaliable on many sites, you can be able to change themes easily. Do a
search about this in google. !!BACKUP THE ORIGINAL FILE FIRST!!

On my Win2000 computer, this REG Key has some color settings;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors

I can't give you any info on a "document" that explains color settings.
Keep searching, you'll find it.

How is this helpful?! He is asking about changing the colours for the *Luna*
interface - the only way to do that is with a 3rd party applet.
 
I don't want to change uxtheme.dll, I am happy running Object Desktop.

Oops, it's NOT helpful. Missed this one. For some reseason I was
fixated on the Classic "theme" that's available under WinXP. :\
