I Modified the Security Settings and User Rights
Assignments of a program - it didn't work. I reassigned
the user rights and now we can't access the program even
though I put the settings right back where they were.
The program is Donor Perfect. Any ideas?

I am a little confused. Generally user rights are task based rights and not
related to a program while ntfs permissions are used to control access to
files/applications [via the executable]. If can give more specifics
including if you are in a domain or not, maybe someone can help. Try giving
"full control" ntfs permissions to the administrators group and logon as an
administrator to see if at least an administrator can run the program. Be
sure to check for any deny permissions in ntfs including in the advanced
page that could cause execution problems. Also changes in Local Security
Policy probably require a reboot to take effect and if you define a setting
and then set it to undefined, the change may not reverse in which case you
would need to define a setting that is appropriate. The Security
Configuration and Analysis tool that is available via a mmc snapin is the
best way to determine true security policy. See link below if you want to
try to change your security settings to default defined levels. -- Steve
