Modify installation path SW Group policy

We are decomissiong a server that was used to deploy
several SW packages using a Group policy. Is there an easy
way to change the installation share from one server to
the another without having create and redeploy new SW
installtion policy. We need to maintain the self healing
and run on first use settings defined in the SW policies.

No, there isn't. You'll have to re-assign the software packages.

The only option I can think of which may or may not work is to create an A
record for the old server in DNS with the old name, and point it to the new
unit's IP. I wouldn't count on this, though.
