Is there a way to make changes on a large number of users
for information that is the same for all users. For
example if I was moving my enterprise to a different
physical location and had to change the address info for
1000 users is there a way to do that other than entering
the same info 1000 times in the user's properties in AD??
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Windows Server 2003 Administrative Tools version of the dsa.msc --> AD User
and computer snapin is updated and are allowed force administration to
update multiple users

Windows Server 2003 Administrator Tools, must be installed on WindowsXP or
Windows Server 2003, but can manage Windows2000 Domains as well Windows
Server 2003 domains.

Dave,

In addition to what Chriss suggested, I would take this opportunity to
introduce you to ADModify! It is a very useful tool that a couple of MS
employees wrote. I use it when necessary. Here is a link to it:

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/PSS/Tools/Exchange%20Support%20Tools/ADModify/

Another option is to use ldifde but that might be a bit more work than using
ADModify. Then there is always scripting.

Cary
