ortiz5848,

I copied the following from the Motorola website, quote:

The SURFboard external cable modems run with any computer that supports USB
or Ethernet interface, including PCs, Macs, laptops, and workstations.
SURFboard modems are compatible with any operating system that runs on these
computers as long as the operating system supports TCP/IP (such as MAC OS,
Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP, Linux, and Unix). As you may already know, USB
is not supported with Windows 95 and NT. Motorola's SURFboard cable modem USB
drivers are WHQL Certified for WIndows 98/2000/Me/XP.

unquote

My take on that statement is that the SB4200 (SB=SURFboard) will work with
Vista because Vista is compliant with the USB standard. The SB4200 is a USB
device, and there isn't anything new about that. I think the Motorola site
just hasn't been updated to include the modem in that above statement.

All,

To correct a typo: The last sentence should read: I think the Motorola site
just hasn't been updated to include Vista in the above statement (changed
"the modem" to "Vista."
