Hello,
I have situation where my modem is not making the
usual dialing noises when connecting to the internet. I
recently moved and the the modem is connected to a
different phone line than it has been in the past, but it
always use to make the dialing noise when conecting. Also,
my connection speed, while slow because of dial up, is
even slower now in the new house. Could this be a problem
with the modem itself or is it just the connecton
considering im in a new location? Any help or ideas would
be appreciated!
 
Click on cotroll panel, network connections,right click
yor dialup,click properties,under your modem click
configure, make sure the box that says enable modem
speaker is checked
