Help!

I need to set up some fancy 'Modem Initialisation
Strings' in XP Home. I found how to do it in Windows
3.11 and 98, by modifiying and renaming .ini and .inf
files etc.

How can I make my internet connection dialer use the
initialisation string I need and not the default.

I can't see any way in which I can send my strings to the
modem.

Regards all,

I didn't add a modem on this system when I built it but if I remember
correctly, you can find a place to add these by using Control Panel
(classic view)> Phones and Modems. Select your modem here and go into its
properties. There should be a text box area where you can add
initialization strings.
