modem driver?

I have an internal modem which came with the machine but it doesn't seem to have a driver. I have hooked up my old external and it works fine but I really want to use the internal. HArdware wizard detects it every time I switch on but tells me it doesn't have the software. Anyone know where I can download this kind of stuff

How can I find out the name and model? I bought the machine 2nd hand and the modem's inside.
