Ever since I upgraded to XP my modem doesn't work like it used to. My modem used to disconnect when I had an incomming call. I liked this feature because I live in a rural area and I can't even get a second phone line until the phone company replaces their cabel. Is there any way I can reconfigure the modem so that it will disconnect when I get a call.
 
You need call waiting from the phone company and modem on hold function in
your modem software. Jym
