Modem & automatically close connection

How/where can I give the information to the system to automatically close the modem connection when leaving IE Explorer or OUtlook? I couldn't find it in the HELP section.
I could program it in windows 98.

It's in Internet Options, Connection tab, Settings button for your
connection, then Advanced. You should find a check box titled "Disconnect
when a connection may no longer be needed." This will pop up a window when
you close all Internet programs asking if you want to stay connected or
disconnect now.
