MoBo AGP 4x vs AGP 8x Card

Hi All

I have a ASUS TUV4X Socket 370 Mainboard that supports AGP 4x 1.5volt
Graphics Cards,
can I put a AGP 8x Graphics Card into this mainboard, which also supports
1.5volts ?
I can get a AGP 4x Card, but it seems like it only supports DirectX 8.0 and
I need Minmum DirectX 8.1.

You can put any AGP-card into the slot. No worries at all.
