Mobile Phone freeware?

I recently bought a Motorola mobile phone. The supplied PhoneTools
software is abysmal. Since the phone connects (& charges) by a USB
cable, is there any free PC program available that can do a similar job?
Any help appreciated.

Try http://fma.sf.net it works well with my SE T610 and may work with
your Motorola.
