It thinks that my P4 3 GHz doesn't support MMX. I'm sure it does.

How do I fix this? Will this cause a problem in MMC performance?

NO just a little thing to remind you where the drivers came from....

i get the same error, have AMD 2500/barton core. it allso tells me that my
sound card fails stability test, wither i use on board sound, or my
audiology II. at least everything else works.

The ATI PC Test utility has been broken for so long that we no longer expect
it to be fixed. The good news is, it doesn't matter.

On my machine it prevents Guide Plus from recording. This is or should be a
known issue to ATI. I've been complaining about it for a month or so and
get the most ignorant responses possible from ATI. Don't know if they are
just playing dumb or really don't know what's going on. So far the only
working or should I say semi-working solution I have is Cat 3.2 and MMC 8.1.
If you don't use or don't want Guide Plus to record than you can get away
with Cat 3.8 and MMC 8.1 or 8.5. Everything else is broken in someway or
other on my machine.

Hey, you're lucky. On my system with Cat 3.8 and MMC 8.7 sometimes when
I start the TV Tuner it reboots my PC. Of course, ATI's response is
nothing but form letters...

I'd say they just don't care.

Luckily, MMC 8.7 Cat 3.8 seems to be functional despite the MMC test not
detecting MMX support.

This is on a 875PBZ board with 3G P4 and 2GB ram, Audigy 2.
