I would recommend installing Movie Maker 2 again from the Windows Update
website. During a successful installation, (regardless of whether or not
you end up with MM1.x or MM2.x) you should have those 4 files in the
"%Systemroot%\registered packages" folder.

Have done so and attempted the suggestions, they were
good, but none seemed to work. I suspect that I might not
have some of the files required in my
C:\WINDOWS\registeredpackages folder, it only contains
two files and none are overwritten when I copy them.
