When using an MPEG clip captured with a Hauppauge 350
board, the following occures:
1) I cannot bring the clip on to the timeline. The
clip drops in the audio line not the video line. I can
drop the clip into the storyboard and then switch to the
time line.
2)Once I switch to the timeline and begin editing
(especially spliting clips) the computer hangs. Down
loaded MPEG clips from the Internet work fine. The
length of the clip does not seem to me a factor.
I have tried capturing in both MPEG 2MB and 12MB; and
different lengths of clips.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
