I've just installed a Hauppauge 350 in my new PC running XP Home SP2 and
although it seems to works OK with it's own software, MM2 can't detect any
valid Capture Devices, neither can Nero Vision Epress3.

Are not all Capture cards compatible, I have looking for a list but no one
else seems to have had this problem

Any one got any ideas ?

Regards, Dave

Not all systems are the same, and not all cards are compatible. Check the
Analog Video Capture section of my website for assorted comments about 20
different brand devices, including some about Hauppauge

Hauppauge 350 is not a capture card I have one and found the same problem it
is only a PVR

So.....

How can I tell which one's are VC and which one's aren't ?
If it says PVR then does that tend to suggest it isn't VC ?
Do you have any recommendations ? I am looking for a good Video Capture / TV
card that works under Win XP and if possible MCE2005 too. Would I be better
off buying a seperate VC card and keeping the PVR-350 for TV ?
