Hi i was wondering how to properly install windows movie maker 2.1 also if
there is really any benefit like what features extra does mm 2.1 offer? I was
also having a problem importing my digital cameras films to windows movie
maker or windows media player. the only thing that comes up when i try to put
it in too media player is the audio. the same goes with movie maker. I was
also wondering why do i have to ocnvert the file from whatever it is to a

used if anyone can offer any incite i'd be glad to hear it. thanks -korin

Movie Maker 2.1 is installed as a component of
Windows XP SP2.

The .mswmm file is your project file. To save in a
movie format read the following:

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next / Next.
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as an .avi movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...
