I cannot get my MM2.0 to startup when I'm logged in
(admin account winxp-home). I used it months ago to
create a rather complex video with multi transitions and
sound. The files in my collection were probably moved
around and are not where mm2.0 thinks they are.

I can login as another user (without shutdown) and it
opens up fine. is there something with the collections I
had set up. I can't get into the program to delete
them.

PJ, I had figured that. I found those files and moved to
other locations as a Backup. Thinking since the .col
and .dat files were no longer in the mm folder it would
start up. No joy. I can't put my finger on it. How can
this be? Since I have no collections or project on my
HD, there should not be anything hanging it up. Funny
thing is it works fine when I logon as Guest. Is there
someone at MS you can touch to see if they see my error
reports? I did a survey on the MS MM sight and mentioned
the same thing. Appreciate any help.

BTW...you have a great site...but, it don't pull up in
google.

Dave,

I've looked at your posts a number of times over the past few days, but
can't offer anything more. You seem to have a handle on the collection
database files and I'm too far removed from your computer setup from a user
standpoint to venture a good guess.

No, I don't have a contact at Microsoft who would be appropriate to check
the error reports from their end.

Hopefully you have it resolved by now.

Thanks for the comment about the site.. I'm not sure what you mean with
Google - might depend on how you search or which link you try.
