MM goes sooo slow

I have been have the same problem as white owl. It takes forever to load a
project and when it finally does, when I start to edit and play it, it just
freezes up. I tried the disk clean up, error checking and defrag just as
suggested, but it hasnt seemed to help that much. Any suggestions?

Video editing takes alot of processing power. i find a computer with 2.4ghz
or faster works good. if you have a laptop then a laptop with a Core Duo
processor should suffice. if you don't have either you can either add more
RAM (atleast 512mb) or get a new computer/laptop.
