HELP! Have been working on a movie for over 2 weeks. It
is about 16 min long. I finally got it done and now need
to create the movie from the Project. (my first time so I
hope I have the terms right)

When I try "Create a movie to my DV Camera" it crashes
after 39% complete, saying Microsoft Movie Maker has
encountered an unrecoverable problem.

When I try to "Create a movie to my computer" it churns
and the estimated time continues to steadily increase up
to over 4000 minutes estimated to complete. I cancelled
it.
I did check "My Computer" and found that I had used up
all but 4Gig of my C Drive even though I am saving the
movie to my D: drive.

The computer is new and came partitioned into a C:drive
of 15 Gig and D: drive of 100Gig. The last I looked the
c: drive had 9 Gig free. Is it possible that MM is using
the C: drive for temporary space. (??) If so how can I
cause Movie Maker to use the D drive for temp files.

Hoping someone can help me. Am creating a movie for the
year end banquet for my son's football team and they are
all really looking forward to it.

I may be all wet about the c: drive issue, so any other
ideas would really be appriciated. Am in panic mode.

Cathy,

One of your Movie Maker 2 settings (Tools > Options) is the location of your
temporary files.
