Hi,

I purchased the MS combination wireless keyboard and mouse product a few
months ago.

Whilst I like the keyboard, the mouse is crap, and lacks the forward and
back buttons as most MS mice do.

So now I have to shell out even more money and get a proper wireless
mouse(would have been cheaper to my them seperate upfront!).

I am able to use the dual keyboard/mouse receiver that came in the
combination pack, that plugs into my PC as the receiever for my new 'stand
alone' mouse as well, or will I now have to use the new receiver that come
with the new mouse(I would then have one for kb and one for mouse).

Thanks

The old Wireless Optical Desktop (Pro) receiver worked with the original
Wireless Intellimouse Explorer mice.

I'm not sure about the newer keyboard/mouse combo sets, I'm about 100 km
away from my Desktop Elite right now :(
