I have an NEO2 plat (MS-7025, bios 1.B) that has an IDE boot drive. Can I
use a SATA
drive (500GB) as a secondary without issue? Would I need to place it on the
SATA2 connector to avoid boot issues? Any information and/or warnings
appreciated.

Thanks,
James

Yes.
No.
The BIOS setup (Hard Disk Boot Priority) should allow you to set any
hard drive to be the boot drive.
