I'm trying to use the Movie Maker with a lap-top. Not
easy! I have to make short films and I had hoped I could
record part one, then part 2 and so on. And combine them
into one long movie. Not! The computer decided to put the
last film I recorded 1st, the 1st film I recorded last
and so one.
Is there anyway when I record my short films to put them
in order when recording?
Also how can I get more Virtual Memory. When I try to
record anything over 40mg the computer says it trying to
up the memory. When the computer does this, is it
actually trying to find more memory or is it just a
bubble sign? Worthless?
I like making the shorter movie that's not really a
problem it's the order the computer puts the film in
that's the killer!

You are in the driver's seat when using Movie Maker or any other video
editing software. You get to put things where you want them.

Maybe you should view some online tutorials about how to use the software -
there are links to them on the Online... Tutorials page of www.papajohn.org

How much memory do you have? 256Mb is really the very least you can have - I
found moviemaker almost unusable until I got 512Mb RAM.

For a "proper" setup, I'd use 1Gb RAM and a 2Ghz processor, but on my 1.8Ghz
laptop, it is usable, just requires patience!
