Hello . . . Can anyone suggest what I should do about
this? Norton's disk doctor says a file is missing and
that it can't fix the problem. The message
is "C:\WINDOWS\System32\MAPISRVR.EXE" cannot access a
necessary file "gapi32.dll".

I'd appreciate any information anyone can give me.

Thanks,
Caron

The gapi32.dll file can be found on your Microsoft Office
installation CD.

Thanks, Carey.

So the missing file is from MS Office? A computer repair
guy loaded Office on a new hard drive for me thinking I'd
used it before, which I hadn't, so I deleted it. Odd that
Norton thinks one file is missing when the whole program
is deleted.

I guess it won't hurt to ignore the message, then--it
doesn't seem as if it should cause any trouble.

Thanks again,
Caron
