Thomas;
I was trying to help one guy a while back and he found
that he was one of the first to get a brand new virus
that nobody had ever heard of before. :-(
Make sure your Anti Virus software is up to date and
run a complete scan.

Download, install, update and run again #1, 2 and 3 for sure.
The first site gives some recommendations.

Wesley,
I search for it from the web as well. I can only find that forum
which is related to it as well. But, it does not really help.
The file VDShellrc.dll is not found in the computer. Also, it is
not included in the Virtual Drive software. 'cus it is not a file
from the virtual drive. The virtual drive I am using is
VirtualDrive 8 of FarStone.
Moreover, I have searched this file from other normal computers
which installed the Virtual Drive as well. But, there is no such
file found.
It seems to be a dead case. ><

Thomas;
That was the only reference to VDShellrc.dll
I could find Searching the web.
And that had to be translated from French.
Do a Search on your machine for VDShellrc.dll. If/when
found | Right click VDShellrc.dll | Properties | Version tab |
Description (Some times this actually tells you what the file is
for/does what) | Under Other version information | Highlight each
item in the list | Read about it in the right hand pane (Some times
this actually tells you something useful)
Jonathan278 didn't mention the name of his VD.
You don't mention the name of your Virtual Drive software either.
Do they have some sort of Support or Help?

Dear Wesley,
Thank for the advice. However, it does not work. I have already
removed everything related to Virtual Drive from the register.
Also, I have checked that this dll file does not belong to the
virtual drive program I am using. Is there anyone has solved it
before?
Many Thanks
Thomas
Thomas;
VDShellrc.dll does not seem to be a valid XP file.

Dear all,
There is an error when I right-click on the icons from the
desktop and explorer. The error message is:
Warning
Failed to load library, file(VDShellrc.dll) was not found.
I have done the virus scan and search the microsoft dll library,
but there is clue about it. Although there was some post
related to it, there is no solution at all. Could anyone solve
this problem for me? Many Thanks.
Best Regards,
Thomas
