When I forward a vcard or just forward a contact from Outlook 2003, the email
shows up in windows mail without the attachment. I have disabled all email
security and still cannot receive the attachments.

Has anyone else tried or experienced this problem and found a solution?

Don't use Outlook's RTF format unless sending to another copy of Outlook.
No one but Outlook can read it or find the attachments.

Thanks for the help. You solved the mystery. I was hoping I could import
Outlook contact/calendar info into windows mail. Looks like I will have to
buy the new office suite just to get outlook.

I appreciate your reply.

If you export the Outlook contacts to a CSV file, Windows Contacts can
import that.

Or, if Outlook is installed on Vista and using the proper PST file, Windows
Contacts can import from that.

Outlook 2003 works fine on Vista.

I have windows mail and vista and cannot receive certain attachments from a
specific sender. I heard something about winmail reader and "boinking" the
email. Any suggestions on how to receive attachments from a specific sender?
