I am new to XP. For the past weeks all has been well. Now
the address bar, or URL, whatever it is called, does not
come up when I go to Internet Explorer or My MSN. The
place I am referring to is where it is supposed to
display http://msn.com/. That is where I go to type in a
website address by clicking on the m in msn and then
putting in the desired address. All I get now is the
search window. I have clicked on every HELP window and
Tab in the world in XP and can get no help. I have
enabled, disabled, you name it. Anyone out there who can
help?

Maybe it's because your getting the "full" display of the MSN page automatically
Did you try just clicking on the "restore down" button in the top right corner
That will sometimes bring the address bar back into view. If not, click on 'Veiw
on your taskbar, then click on'Toolbars', then click on 'Address bar'. That should
then show a check-mark, indicating that your address bar is enabled, and it should
reappear. Did that answer your question?

Did you verify that in menu item View > Toolbars you did not uncheck the
Address Bar item?
