missing taskbar

Man I really feel stupid ,
my grandkids were on my computer yesterday and when I
fired it up today ...NO TASKBAR. Can someone tell me how
to get it back......THX

Are you sure they didn't set it to autohide on you and move it? Drag the
cursor around the edges of the monitor, all 4 sides, and see if it
appears.

Also they could have just dragged it down so it appears to be gone. If
they didn't move if you can get it back by slowly dragging the cursor
all the way to the bottom until it turns into a double arrow, then left
click and hold and drag it where you want it to be.

I think if you take your mouse to the bottom of the
desktop the taskbar will appear. Right click on a blank
spot on the taskbar and select properties. Uncheck the
autohide taskbar menu item.
