I installed Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 on my computer in Oct 2005 (
Roxio Basic 5 was already installed on my computer when I purched it in
2003). Now when I try to use it I cant find it. I dont have the icons anymore
(and yes I have used it to make cds and dvds since I've gotten it). When I go
to the control panel and add/remove programs it's not listed there but when I
check on my system by going to Dell Support icon and clicking on "my computer
system" in the " Referemce system information" it tells me all about my
system including installed software. Here, it clearly states the software is
installed, but I can not find it so that I can use it. What do I need to do
to get to my software (without the disk)?

Find your Roxio Easy CD and reinstall.

Is "it" EasyCD Creator 6 or is "it" Roxio Basic 5? "It" (whichever one)
installs itself into a folder in the Programs folder.
Do you have the Drag and Drop icon on your desktop? If so, that is really
all you need to burn CDs and DVDs.

My fiance has the CD in Fort Benning and is unable to send it to me anytime
soon, so what can I do without it at the time (if anything at all)

Thank you, I hope this works. I dont have the platinum version, but I'm
going to try it anyway. Thanks again.

"It's" Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 (that I cant find)...i no longer have the
"drag and drop" icon on my desktop, i have no idea what happened to it... at
first glance it appears as though i have deleted the software and all of it's
componets but I have not and no one else uses my computer... i thought it may
be in another program folder so i did a windows search for it and found
nothing... and I'm not just wanting to burn cd's and dvds (although i started
a dvd project and never finished it and it is on there) i just wanted to
listen to my music that was in the Roxio Audio library and that's when i
discovered it was gone... my system is telling me it's there but i have no
way of getting to it...

Download and run the FREE Belarc Advisor. It will list every program
installed and clicking on them will tell you where there are installed.
Save the info for future use, its very handy.
