Windows Vista Missing Size detail option in Comptuer/Win Explorer

Recently, when I opened Computer/Windows Explorer, the Size column was no longer visible, then when I went to the Details List to reselect it, it's not listed as an option. Size is a default detail, so I'm quite confused. I haven't reset defaults in Folder Options yet.
Any ideas? Something to look for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex ?

I'm running Vista Ultimate SP1.

The culprit: Vista update Windows Search 4.0 for Windows Vista (KB940157)

Once I reindexed everything, suddenly Size reappeared as a col in the Search window and was available as a detail in Computer/Win Explorer. I sent a tasty little note to Microsoft, which I'm sure will be treated with the utmost respect.
