I've goofed and I am looking to the experts for help. Running XP on HP
computer. Last night was cleaning up old files/programs (from Control Panel)
I didn't use. I deleted one program called SiS.dll thinking it was the
offsite access to the computer system I used to work with....we called it
the "SIS" system. Wrong thing to do. Getting an error message that
SiSPower.dll not available on start up.

How can I get this file back. I am not able to access the restore utility
(guess it affects it as well as graphics, etc.). I do not find it in my
trash can. I have not found anything searching the Microsoft website.
And have not seen a way to restore without purchasing software from a third
party company.

Thanks for your help. And if this should be posted to another website,
please let me know and I will repost.

SiS is also a motherboard "chipset" / "video card" driver. Since this
is a HP computer, check on hp.com and locate the drivers for your
model.
