When I start up Windows XP, most of the icons in my
system bar are missing. If I log off and back on, they
appear. I use these icons very frequently to administer
computer. Autohide icons is disabled and I only have one
account on this computer. The same is true on my laptop
computer. Any help would be appreciated.

.
This is exactly the problem that I have as well.
Usually, if I log off and bac on, they appear. More than
one of the icons is essential for me for business
purposes. This sometimes happens on my laptop, but far
more infrequently. The PC is the main problem.
Over the last couple of days, even when I reboot, all of
the icons do not come back on. It seems always to be the
same few icons (AOL, Net-Screen Remote, and the volume
button) that are most likely not to load properly.
