After a server crash and attempt to fix it, we discovered that our server CD's/documentation and product key had never been passed over to us by the contractor who installed it all. He's long gone. Does anyone know how to find out what they were? We're a small nonprofit and we had gotten the charity license. The server is now toast and has been replaced.

I can't figure out how to contact Microsoft without paying a fortune... can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't think you can. Did you order the
license through Microsoft or a third party? If you did,
you may be able to access your information on Microsoft's
license site https://eopen.microsoft.com but even then
you'll need a valid authorization number and license
number.

If you purchased the license through third party
(Microwarehouse, CDW, etc.) they may be able to give you
some information that could help you obtain your license
info through the above mentioned web site.

Hope this helps,

Lynda

If you have the original packaging or something close to it, call our
customer support and they might be able to assist you.
