The Print Operators built-in group within my Win2K AD
environment is missing. Has anyone else had this
problem? Any suggestions?

Many thanks in advance.

To be honest, I haven't seen that before, but check out if it shows up by
doing the following cmd;
"net localgroup"
Are all of your other builtin groups showing up properly in aduc?
Does it show up when you view the built-ins using adsiedit?

If it is indeed gone for whatever reason, you may be able to readd it via
the gui in adsiedit (or also using; net localgroup "print operators" /add).
Other local groups i've created using net localgroup work fine, but since
they aren't default builtins don't show up there, however since print
operperators is one, it may then reappear in the gui in your builtin folder.
Adsiedit will use the grouptype interger value of -2147483643 if you try to
re-create it there.

Thank you for the suggestions, David. I don't recall ever
having seen the Print Operators group in our AD, now that
I think about it. ADSIEdit and Net View NetLocalGroup
didn't help to reveal the group, either. I'll probably
wind up trying to recreate it. I only hope that it will
function like the built-in group, and not just like
another domain group.

Thanks for the help,
Albert
