I submitted a post on 11/01/03 concerning Uninstalling
Programs...accessed the newsgroup today 11/03/03 to see
if anyone has replied to my post...and it is not even
listed. What's going on???

What good is it to ask for advice, if no one can see it
to reply.
Recieved no e-mails, NOTHING!!!

If there's a time limit, maybe it should be mentioned
somewhere.

Has anyone else had this problem???

If you are using Outlook Express, click FIND and when the window opens, type
in what you are looking for.
I hope this helps!

Gregory;
It probably can't find the Install log.
Dump your CDO. And use Outlook Express.

There are vey few people who will E-mail you an answer. You shouldn't use your real
E-mail address anyway. You have to make the effort to look for an answer if any are
posted.
Do you mean these:

------------------------------------------------------------
When I purchased a HP Pavilion computer, it came with a
Apollo P-2500 printer.
Have had several problems with this contraption, and have
had to uninstall and install the software twice now to
keep it working.
Now I'm back to square one...need to uninstall the
software, but have a simple problem.

Keep getting the following message:

FILE REQUIRED TO UNINSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER IS MISSING!
ABORTING.

Went to Add/Remove programs, tried uninstalling it there,
get the above message.

Went to Programs/ Apollo P-2600 Uninstall, same as above

I've even tried putting in the original software CD, and
it states "The software is already installed. Please
uninstall the software if you want to reinstall. Would
you like to reinstall now"? When it click yes, it'll
bring up the above message. But when I open the
installation disc, I can find the uninstall files on the
disc.
Can I move that file back where it needs to be, and what
folder it needs to be added to, to make it work.

If all else fails, I know there's a way to force
uninstall something, but (1) don't know how, and (2)
never done it.

Any help concerning this matter will be greatly
appreciated.
