missing picture tasks

Please help!!!
I have a photo folder in 'My Pictures'. I would like to
copy these files to cd, but all of a sudden I'm missing
the tasks 'copy to cd' and 'copy all to cd'. I have too
many saved programs, files, etc. to consider re-
installing xp or going back to a restore point unless I
absolutely have to...

OK...I did ran this on the CHANCE it would fix a problem I have: My "Send to Email Recipient" option no longer offered to compress the photos first. I ran the .dll as advertised (I know this is STUPID) and it worked

Now I am wondering WHY it worked. Can anyone enlighten me?

Something you installed, updated, tweaked...
caused WinXP to lose full communication with
shimgvw.dll.

The command..."regsvr32 shimgvw.dll" simply
reregisters the shimgvw.dll file.

Why does this seem stupid?

BTW, do you think using words like STUPID
and CHANCE offers any encouragement to
the volunteers who offer support in this forum?
