I use an HP printer which I share, I have problems (others
do not) printing full page anything. The first letter or
letters are always cut short or in half on entire left
border. Both emails and downloads of web info. Help please.

Try getting a newer driver from HP's web site.

I'm not sure what kind of printer you are talking about because you didn't
say, but I've seen problems with PCL 5 drivers under Windows 2000. It was
fixed by using PCL6 or PostScript based drivers. This is really only
applies to the business level LaserJet printers, not your average home
inkjet.

Thank you Colin, the printer is a HP970Cse, it is shared
with another computer which has zero problems. I had asked
my IT guy to fix, and after a few words and a few bucks in
cost, he threw up his hands and said "buy a new computer".
So short of asking my NEW IT guy, I thought I'd try this
site. Thanks again. Frank

Outlook express and Internet Explorer use the same print settings.

Try opening Internet explorer
go to file > page setup
then try changing the margins.

HTH
ps. you can also change some other printer setting settings here like what
prints at the top and bottom of pages printed from the internet.

I have mine set to print my name to help alleviate lost documents on a
shared printer.
