I don;t know what happened but I lost 3 partitions off my hard drive. I had the drive partitioned for 4 partitions, now when I go to my computer it shows only the primary partition for that drive. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Right click on "MY Computer", click Manage and then click on the disk management in Storage. Now it will show that the partitions are there but they are not formatted. Partitions have to be formatted before they can be visible and used. Right click on it and choose format.

Something similar happened to me. I found a utility program called Active Partition Recovery. It analyzed the partitions on my drive, including "deleted" partitions, guessed at the type of partition (NTFS, FAT, linux, etc.), and offered to re-write the partition table based on what it found. I trusted it, and was able to recover my data. It's worth the few bucks it cost me. I found it on-line, not in a store. Good luck!
