Missing network

Rather than read through 320 posts, I need to know how
to "reinstall" my local network on the XP machine
('XPHome - peer-to-peer - Win2k Pro').
I tried to install a slave HD about to die. Thought I'd
lost my XP system; worked through all sorts of missing
drive problems, etc, using my only "last good" restore.
The only problem I have is I open the network connections
window to nothing, nada, zorch. I can't reconnect my peer-
to-peer using any of the networking tools, nothing I
tried works. Is there an easier way short of a reinstall
of XP or repair off the CD to get Network Connections up
and running again.

Hello
you will have to open you Local Area Network Connections
and make sure you have your (client for MS networks, file
&print sharine,nwlink & TCP/IP protocol) installed, then
run your internet connection wizard then run your network
connection wizard
Hope this helps
Jim
