Hi.

I have a missing tab in the properties screen of my
wireless network connection. Apparently I understand this
tab is necessary for detecting my wireless router. I am
using the W200 on my Compaq N610c laptop running Windows
XP SP1. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Open services and scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration Service,
Start the service and set it to automatic. If it does not show in the
list of Services:

run regedit and find

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WZCSVC

add a DWORD entry named "Start" and
value "2"
